Workshop in Bulgarian folk dances in Antwerp
We would like to invite you to the first workshop in Antwerp to get acquainted with and study Bulgarian traditional folk dance (horo)!
The magical Dariya and Mitko Michalkovi - teachers, choreographers and guardians of the Bulgarian spirit - come to Antwerp especially for the workshops. Brother and sister who have dedicated their lives and professional careers to the Bulgarian horo and folklore. Their dancers - children, young people and adults - present Bulgarian folklore all over the world at festivals and performances with numerous awards and prizes over the years.
No experience with folk dancing is required to participate in workshop 1.
During the second part (workshop 2) we will dance not only what we learned from the workshop, but also other beloved and more or less known Bulgarian dances. Learning, dancing and having fun with Bulgarian folklore is the goal!
