Bulgarian Sunday School “Izvor” opened its doors in Antwerp in September 2024. For many children and parents, this was a long-awaited moment.

Classes in Bulgarian language and literature take place every Sunday at Lageweg 141, 2660 Hoboken, Antwerp. Groups are formed according to the children’s age, number and level of Bulgarian.

Children aged 4 to 12 can enrol.

The school follows the curriculum of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science for Bulgarian Sunday schools abroad.

As an extracurricular activity, children can also join the “Izvor” children’s folk dance group.
